★はじめに | Introduction
隊長である私が、「次のキャンプから、皆さんのところへ会いに行きますね！」と、はじめて発言したときは、冗談半分であった。
しかし急に思いついて、人生初のタロット占いをしてもらったとき、「出張をするといいですね。知恵も知識もお金もめぐってくるでしょう」と言われた。ということで、いつにしたらいいだろうか？

When the idea came up suddenly, I had a tarot reading done for the first time in my life, I was told by the tarot reader, "It would be good to go on a business trip. Wisdom, knowledge, and money will come around". So, when should I decide on dates?
たまたま、私の日曜のZoomライブのときに、九州のお二人が最初にZoomに入ってきて、「隊長、いつ九州に来られますか？」と、有り難いことに質問された。
それから20分くらいZoomでミーティングとなり、日程と場所が決まったので、すぐに飛行機とホテルを予約した。
飛行機とホテルを予約した後、日本政府から「全国旅行支援」のニュースが入り、幸運にも予約したホテルから割引が適用されることになった。
I started my Sunday Zoom live stream and my two clients from Kyushu came into the Zoom meeting first and asked, "Captain, when are you coming to Kyushu?" They asked enthusiastically. Our meeting lasted for 20 minutes or so and finally, the date and location were set, and I immediately booked a flight and hotel.
After booking my flight and hotel, news came in from the Japanese government about the "National Travel Assistance" voucher, and luckily, I got a discount from the hotel I booked.
なんと、大阪のクライアントさん3名も九州に来ることになった。想定外だった。
パンデミックも終わり、みんなどこかへ行きたがっているが、大人になると修学旅行がない。
私のオンラインコミュニティーは、イベントや発表の場があり、若い頃より楽しく学べるし、いつでも参加できる、大人の学校みたいなものかもしれない。
The pandemic is finally over and everyone wants to go somewhere but as adults, we don't have school trips.
My online community could be like a school for adults because there are events, and presentations, and learning is more fun than when you were young and because we can join in whenever we want to.
バーチャル上のコミュニティーが、ついにリアリティーと結びついた。
するとどうなるか？ 対面ではじめて会うのに、自己紹介なしで、いきなり深い話ができる。そして、オンライン上でその人となりを、それぞれが感じているので、対面で会ったときに、その人の印象を、目の前で伝えることもできる。本人が気づいていない魅力に気付くことができる瞬間だ。
私が終わりの合図を出さないと、いつまでも話に花が咲き続けたであろう。九州セミナーは、大成功だった。
My virtual community finally connected with reality.
What happens then? We can meet for the first time face-to-face and suddenly have an in-depth conversation without introductions. And since each of us has an impression of the other person online, we can convey that impression in front of each other when we meet face-to-face. This was the moment when we can realize the person's charm that they are not aware of.
The conversation would not have stopped had I not said, “It's over.” On the whole, the Kyushu seminar was a great success.
翌日は、糸島観光へ。たまたま数日前にガイドブックで見つけた場所だ。大阪のクライアントさんも同行し、運転手になってくれた。
田舎の一本道、海岸線のドライブ、漁港でいただく新鮮な牡蛎、波打ち際のヤシの木ブランコ。私たちは夢のような景色の中にいた。
The next day, we went to Itoshima, which I happened to find in a guidebook a few days ago. A client from Osaka went there with me and became my driver.
A country road, a drive along the coastline, fresh oysters at the fishing port, palm tree swings by the waves. We were in a dreamlike landscape.
いままでなぜ、旅をするために出張をするという発想を思いつかなかったのだろう。
出張なのか、旅行なのか、境界線が曖昧になった。
Why didn't I ever think of the concept of doing business to travel? Boundaries blurred as to whether it was a business trip or a trip.
別次元を旅したのは、私だけではなさそうだ。
It seems I am not the only one who has traveled to another dimension.
