It's time to sign up to a different club!

Anyway, do you prefer taking an escalator or going up stairs?
I prefer going up stairs because there are fewer people than
on an escalator so I can set my own pace and see my way clearly.
Also I'm energetic so I can’t stand still on the escalator.
If you use your brain a lot you should exercise a lot as well
and then you might change your ideas.
One day, I realized that people who take an escalator look tired,
but those who choose going up stairs look healthy.
So I don’t want to sign up to a tired group.
I told that theory to my client and then she asked me with interest.
"I see, that makes sense!
And you walk fast so you like roller coasters?."
"It’s not my cup of tea.
I get dizzy easily plus I just ride it,
I can’t drive it."
"Oh! You don't want to be taken for a ride in a car
but you want to drive the car.
That’s deep! It’s metaphor for life."
I shared this theory to another client and she said,
"I never thought I had a choice but to use the escalator.
I’m always looking for a quick-fix to help me change my life
in a way maybe the escalator's also just a quick fix.
That’s my way of thinking."
Sounds like a daily trivial choice reflects your way of thinking.
Being taken for a ride or managing yourself.
Have you ever walked up a broken escalator?
If it felt strange you might have forgotten
how it feels to walk up stairs
but this is less a story about exercise
and more a story about making choices.
Sometimes I choose the escalator;-)

Have a good week!
