Dear Readers,
Inside you there are sealed capsules containing potential, waiting to be opened.
Thirteen years ago I went to see an astrologist who was a leading expert in the field.
And he told me about my possibilities in the future. He said, “Your horoscope says abroad, publication and education are the key words of your life and you are the kind of person who destroys something that others have build in the past and then you create something new.”
Publication and education made sense for me but I didn’t use English at all so I asked him about that. And he said, “The time will come to crack open that capsule someday!” I was impressed with what he said and that bothered me a little at the same time because my English study had stopped for ten years.
But six years later it suddenly happened. I sometimes write about that in this newsletter. A man who was a world champion of ballroom dancing talked to me at a sushi restaurant in Tokyo. At that moment I felt the time had come to open my English capsule.
And then I warmed up to studying English and I decided to go to an English conversation school.
It has been five years. I’ve developed my English and thinking in English is to face myself and do some soul-searching. What I write about became deeper and deeper.
So the message from the future is not only the literal meaning of a word but also a message that leads to beyond the beyond.
“The time will come to crack open my capsule someday. I wonder when and how.”
