The way of imagining your future, I recommend you go to where people you admire used to live or that you are taught directly by them. In my experience, I am fascinated by those that give me pointers like the north-star does.

In October 2013, I went to Auvers-sur-Oise, the place of Vincent van Gogh’s death. I entered his apartment where he spent his final days, the famous church which he drew and the cemetery he and his brother lie in. I sympathized with him. I was the same age he was when he died.

In August 2013, I met an English teacher who has been proofreading this newsletter. He is also my hero. When I first met him, he was talking about his favorite movie “The Royal Tenenbaums” and he said, “I watched it 25 times!” When I heard it I thought I should learn from him at gut level about his artistic sense. Inspired by things, my talents bloom!
つまり、憧れる人は未来の自分を投影しているのです。あなたの中にその才能がるから、魅了されるということです。ヒーローのリストを作ってみましょう。そして直接習いに行ったり、実際にその空気や雰囲気を感じてみることです。そうすると、未来のあなたが新しい現実へと、あなたを誘うでしょう。
Therefore, people you admire reflect your future. I mean that you already have potential ability so you attract them. Let’s make a list of your heroes. And you should go to learn from them or to go to feel the mood and the atmosphere. And then your future self leads yo u to a new reality.
