金は天下の回り物と言います。お金の貯め方よりも、お金の使い方が重要なのかもしれません。パトロンのように考えることは、お金を出すことに意味をもたらし、ポジティブサイクルの一部となり、さらにポジティブな未来へつながるのです。
They say “money goes around and comes around". How to spend money positively is more important than how to save money. To think like a patron makes spending money meaningful, and is part of a positive cycle, that leads to a more positive future.
突然、『セッション』メルマガを終了することにしました。私の中でスキルのアウトプットが完了した感覚があったのと、最近は、ネットで探せば無料で知識を得られる時代になってきたので、知識に対してお金をいただくことにも違和感が出てきたのもあります。
Suddenly, I have decided to end the "Session" newsletter. I felt that the output of my skills has been completed, and I also felt uncomfortable about being paid for my knowledge, as these days we can get knowledge for free by searching for it on the internet.
自分のコーチに葛藤を話すと、以下のお返事をいただきました。
I talked about my conflict to my coach and he gave me the following answer.
私自身の個人的観念（ビジネス版）ですが、あくまでもね。 「来るもの拒まず、去る者追わず」 だから、一人でもお客さんがいらっしゃれば続けますね。 あの時の「コミコレ」みたいに。
It's my idea (the business version), it’s just my opinion. "Welcome the coming, speed the parting guest.". That's why, if there's even one customer, I'll continue. It's like the Comikore Seminar at that time.
「もし、一人でも読者がいるなら何を書きたいか？」
読者がいなくても『かないずむ』のリメイク版を書こうと思っていました。週に一度の締め切りがあれば、執筆は捗ると思います。そうすれば、メルマガを続ける価値はありそうです。
What would I write if I had just one reader?
I was thinking of writing a remake of "Kanaism" even if there were no readers. I think I would progress in writing if I had a weekly deadline. It would seem worthwhile to continue with the newsletter, that way.
となると、これから読者は、知識に対してお金を払うのではなく、まだ世に出ていない小説を読むためにお金を払うということになるわけです。それって、パトロンのすることではないですか！ 読者の方も全く新しい次元へアップしますね。
So, from now on, readers will not pay for knowledge, but for reading novels that have not yet been published. That's like what patrons do. It's a whole new dimension for readers.
以前私は、いろいろな先生の英会話レッスンを受けていましたが、５年前に英会話の先生を一人に絞りました。パトロンの意識を持つことにしたのです。私は生徒でありますが、先生のパトロンでもあるのです。
I used to take English lessons with many different teachers, but five years ago I decided to have only one teach. I am a student, but I am also a patron of my teacher.
私が起業家として仕事を続けられているのは、好きなことをしているからです。お金を払うときは、好きなことにお金を払います。好きなことに集中することで、人生がとても豊かになったのです。また、お金を出さなければならない時も、うまく使えば自分に返ってくるので、不安を感じなくなりました。
I continue to work as an entrepreneur because I love what I do. When I pay money, I also pay for what I like. I thought about how focusing on what I love has made my life richer. And I no longer feel anxious when I have to pay out money, because, if I spend it well, it will come back to me.
好きな人にお金を払う。払いたい人にお金を払う。これからの時代は、自分が知識を得るための次元はもうおわり、一緒に体験することに価値が上がってくるのだと思います。Win-Winなのです。
Paying the people you like. Paying who you want to pay. In the future, the dimension of gaining knowledge for oneself will be over, and the value will be in experiencing it together. It's a win-win.
