継続することでしか辿り着けない別次元。| Another dimension that can only be reached through continuity.

　今の自分から、別次元の自分へ行くには何をすればよいでしょうか？

　What can you do to go from your current self to another dimension?

　別次元とは、新しい挑戦というだけでなく、継続している中で、上のレベルに達し、また新しい挑戦ができるということも、別次元の扉を開くことになると思います。

　Another dimension is not only a new challenge, but also a door to another dimension in which you can reach a higher level and take on new challenges again in the course of continuity.


　クライアントさんが、「ひとみの部屋」ライブセッションで、こんな悩みをお話になりました。

A client told me about her problem during a "Hitomi's Room" live session.


「ブログを毎日書いているけれど、誰が読んでいるか正直分からないです。たまに書いていて、届けたい思いみたいなものがあるんですけど、これを書いていて誰に届いているのかなとか、思う時があります」

Client: I write a blog every day, but I honestly don't know who reads it. Sometimes when I'm writing, I feel like I want to deliver this article, but sometimes I wonder who is reading it.

「ブログ読みましたよとか、言われたことがない？」

Me: Has anyone ever told you they read your blog?

「そもそも誰にも言ってないですね。そこのハードルがなかなか高くて。そこを超えられたら、別次元かもしれません」

C: I haven't told anyone in the first place. That hurdle is quite high. If I could get past that, it might be on another level


「もし私だったら、校長先生に言ってますね。ブログ書いてますと」

Me: If I were you, I would tell the principal that I write a blog.

「なるほど。そうか。先生方にも伝えていく…。インスタとかも教えたらいいんでしょうね」

C: I see. I see. I would tell my teachers...' 'I see. I suppose I could tell them about Instagram and stuff like that.

　そもそも自分の思いを伝えることを遠慮してしまうところがあるようです。ほかの人からしたらなんてことないことも、自分にとってはハードルが高くなることもあるものです。

　There seems to be a reticence to express her thoughts in the first place. What might seem like a trivial matter to other people can be a hurdle for her.


　そこで、こんな風に背中を押しました。「これまでブログを継続させることができたのだから、次は人に読んでもらうことを意識して書くレベルに行くのでしょうね。日記だから人に紹介しにくかったのもあると思います。別次元としては、読む人を意識して書くこと。そうすれば書いていることを言いやすくなると思います」

　So I gave her a push by telling her, "Since you've been able to keep blogging so far, I guess the next step is to go to the level of writing with the intention that people will read it. I think part of it is because it's a diary, it was harder to introduce people to it. Another dimension is to write with the reader in mind. I think that would make it easier for you to say what you're writing about."

　クライアントさんにとっては、別次元すぎて動揺していたようですが、「これまでの努力が積み重なったことで、ネクストステージに辿り着いた」と思え、新しい扉の向こうの景色も見てみようかなと、感じられたようでした。

 　For the client, it was so difficult that she was upset because it was too far to reach the another dimension, but she felt that she had reached the next stage because of the efforts she had made so far, and that she was ready to see what was behind the new door.


　

　継続しているから辿りつける場所があって、そこからまた新しい取り組みをはじめて、また平らかな道になったら、またさらに新しい取り組みへと、たくさんのチャプターを開いていけるのです。継続しているからこそ見える景色へようこそ。

 There is a place you can get to because you are continuing, and from there you can start a new project, and when the road is level again, you can open many more chapters to even more new projects. Welcome to another dimension that you will see because you are continuing.


　いきなりすごいことをはじめることは難しいです。私も17年以上毎日2つのブログを書いているからこそ、ようやく毎日英語で書く境地に辿り着きました。私にとっては17年もかかりました。ここまで至るのに、何チャプターも経由してきました。同じことを続けていくことでしかたどり着けない別次元の扉もあるのです。

　It is difficult to suddenly start doing great things. I have finally reached the point where I write in English every day because I have been writing two blogs every day for more than 17 years. For me, it took 17 years. I have gone through many chapters to get to this point. There are doors to other dimensions that can only be reached by continuing to do the same thing.
