平成元年、私は中学生でした。祖母が他界した年でしたのでよく覚えています。人の死を体験したとき、死生観を考える機会となりました。「どう生きるか？」を自問自答し、「世の中に役に立つ人になろう」と決意しました。今思えば、祖母から私への未来の種のプレゼントだったように思います。
When the Heisei era started I was a junior high school student. At that time my grandmother passed away so I remembered it very well. When I experience a person's death, I thought about my views of life and death. I asked myself “How do I live?”. And I decided I would contribute to a community as a member of society. Now that I think about it, it was a present for me from her to seed my future.
それから、「人の役に立てること」という選択の積み重ねの人生が始まりました。
16年後、 平成元年に蒔いた志の種が、花開いたのです。会社勤めにピリオドを打ち、個人として世間とかかわるような働き方になりました。平成はインターネットをもたらし、私のインターネットをベースとしたビジネスを誕生させたのです。
And then, every step that I took to do something for people created my future.
Sixteen years later, the seed I sowed came into bloom. I put a full stop to being as an employee to start my own business out on my own in the world. With Heisei came the internet and so was born my internet based business.
時代が変わっても変わらない志。「あなたの令和時代の志はなんですか？」令和時代が終わるころ、あなたのやってきたことが、点と線になって繋がっていることに気づくのです。これから始まる白紙の令和時代。令和が我々に何をもたらし、あなたは何を令和にもたらすでしょうか？
Even though times change, an aspiration stays the same. What is your aspiration in life in the Reiwa era. When Reiwa finishes, you will notice things you have done and connect the dots. The Reiwa era is a blank canvas for us. How will you define Reiwa, how will Reiwa define you?
