1D1U Campでは、プロ講演家でない人が、自分の歩んできた道について語る『ユニタス企画』が大変好評です。今の望ましい結果になったプロセスについての話が聞けるわけで、そこには知恵や気づきなど、学べることがいっぱいあります。いろいろな方面の話を聞けることで、視野も広がります。
At the 1D1U Camp, we have a very popular "Uniters Project" where non-professional speakers talk about the process they have taken. We get to know the process that led to a good result, and there is a lot of wisdom and insight to be learned. To listen to different stories is a great way to get a new perspective.
あるクライアントさんが、自分も何か話してみるとしたら、何がいいだろうか？ と考えていました。前回の『ひとみの部屋』で、これまで外に発信したことのなかった自分の体験談を、はじめてコミュニティーの人たちに話し、これからもっと伝えていきたいと気持ちが動いたようなのです。その後、自分の誕生日から毎日ブログを書きはじめ、1年間続けてみたら見える景色を体験してみたくなったそうです。
One of my clients was thinking about what to talk about in the Uniters project. Last month, she shared her story with the community at Hitomi's Room for the first time, which she had never talked about before, and she felt inspired to share her story. Since then, she has been writing a blog every day since her birthday and wants to experience a new world next year.
Client: 「どんな話を皆さんは聴きたいのでしょう？」
Clients: What story do you think people like to listen to?
Me: 「逆に、どんなことを話したいですか？」
Me: On the contrary, what would you like to talk about?
C: 「Aメソッドについて、まとめて話してみたいです。とても変化が見られたので。なぜなら…」
C: I would like to talk about Method A in summary. Because it I was able to change. And...
Me: 「なるほど。その話が必要だと感じている人には、ピンポイントでいいかと思いますが、多くの人に届く話にするには、『どん底に感じていたところから可能性にフォーカスし、変化した世界について』というテーマがいいかもしれません。普遍的な話は、お茶の間の人もインスパイアしますからね」
Me: I see. I think it would be good for people who need to know about that, but to make the story reach a lot of people, maybe the theme could be "about a dramatic change, from feeling like you are at rock-bottom to focusing on the possibilities". Because a universal story can inspire common people.
C: なるほど！
C: Oh, I see!
Me: 「可能性にフォーカスするって何ですか？」って、以前言ってましたよね。(笑)
Me: What does it mean to focus on possibilities? You used to say that, didn't you?
C: あはは、言ってました。そのあたりからですね。そうすると時系列でしょうか？
C: Haha, I said so. It's from around there. So would in be in chronological order?
Me: そうですね。可能性にフォーカスしはじめたら、私と名前が同じ『ひとみさん』という人にたまたま出逢って、その人に教えてもらったことが、変化のきっかけになってましたもんね。宇宙はわかりやすいですね。(笑)
Me: Yes, it would be. When you started focusing on possibilities, you happened to meet a person whose name was the same as mine, Hitomi-san, and what she taught you became the start of change. The universe is easy to understand.
C: そうでしたね！ はじまりは、友人の結婚式で、久しぶりにひとみさんにお会いしたところからですね。
C: That's right! So it started at a friend's wedding when I met you for the first time in a long time.
Me: そうですね。かなり長くなりそうですから、5回くらいに分けたほうがいいですね。ちゃんと準備をすれば、後から文字お越しして、本にもできそうですから。一石二鳥です。
Me: Right. It's going to be very long, so I think it's better to split it into five parts or something. If you prepare it properly, you can make it into a book later on. You can kill two birds with one stone.
C: おー！ いいですね。イメージができてきました。
C: Wow! That's good. I can imagine it now.
Me: ちょうど、次回の1D1U Campのテーマは、Super Highlightsなので、スピーチもスーパーハイライツになりそうですね！
Me: Just so you know, the theme of the next 1D1U Camp is Super Highlights, so your speech is going to be Super Highlights too!
自分の人生について話す場を持っていますか？ なかなかないと思います。なので、コミュニティーの中でプレゼンの場をつくることにしたのです。最初は高いハードルを感じていた方も、1度登壇すると、病みつきになるのか、第2弾、第3弾と続いています。皆さん、自分の人生を自分で認められる機会になっているようで、何よりです！
Do you have a place to talk about your life? I don't think it happens very often. That's why I decided to give them a chance to make a presentation in the 1D1U community. Even those who felt the hurdle was too high for the first time became addicted to the idea of giving a presentation, and so the second and third sessions followed. I'm glad everyone's getting a chance to admit to themselves the way they live their lives!
