シェアの意味が、「SNSにアップする」になってしまう前に、本来の定義を見直してみよう。
Let's remember the true meaning of "Sharing" before it came to mean "Uploading to social media."
ここ最近、「シェアする」ことについて1D1U コミュニティーで考えている。だいたいの人は、自分が感動したこと、情報をシェアする、SNSで体験をシェアするという意味合いで「シェア」について考えているだろう。
Recently, we have been thinking about "SHARE" in the 1D1U community. People would probably think of something that moved them, sharing information or sharing experiences on social media sites.
先日、金運神社に運転手としてお誘いしたクライアントさんの30分のZOOM企画は、「金運神社とシェア」というテーマだった。とても深い考察だったので、シェアしたいと思う。
The client I recently invited to be a driver at the shrine of money luck, gave a presentation during a 30-minute ZOOM lecture about "Shrine of money luck and SHARE." It was very deep and I would like to share it here.
富士山駅の方へ向かうバスでは、私たちの後ろに若者の男女が乗車していた。なんと約２時間の間、彼らはずっとおしゃべりをしていた。私は、「友達の話ばかりでしたね」と言った。
On the bus heading towards Fuji Station, a young man and woman were seated behind us. To my surprise, they chatted the whole way for about two hours. I said to my client. "They were talking about their friends the whole time."
大雨の金運神社では、私たち二人だけになった瞬間があった。そのとき、いつもなら心の中で唱える願い事を、大きな声で口に出して言った。私に続いてクライアントさんも声に出して願い事を言った。その様子について、「隊長は、１２０％今を楽しんでいるんだな」と感じたようだ。
There was a moment when we were the only two people in the shrine of money luck. At that moment, I said out loud the wish I usually chant in my mind. Following me, she also said her wish aloud. Regarding this situation, she felt that the captain was enjoying the moment 110%.
クライアントさんは私の家に宿泊したので、プロジェクターで私の好きな映画「Before Sunrise」をシェアした。この映画は、ずっと二人が対話している様子が続く。クライアントさんは言った。「相手のことを知りたくて質問したり、相手に自分を知ってもらいたいから伝える対話をしていましたね」と。
She stayed at my house and I shared my favorite film "Before Sunrise" on the projector. The film depicts two people talking to each other the whole time. She said, "They were asking questions because they wanted to get to know the other person, and they were having a dialogue because they wanted the other person to get to know them."
朝10時に私の日課であるオンライン英会話があった。クライアントさんは、観察するつもりであったが、画面の端のほうに映っているのを英会話の先生が見つけ、呼びかけられた。そして一緒に参加することになった。「これからどこに行くの？」と先生に質問されたので、「どこか当ててみて！」と私は先生に質問をした。クライアントさんは、生徒が先生に質問をしているのを見て、驚いたようだ。
There was my daily online English conversation at 10 am. My client observed it, but the teacher spotted her on the edge of the screen and called her over to join us. And the teacher asked me, "Where are you going today?' And I also asked her, "Guess what?" Seeing this, the client seemed surprised that the student was asking the teacher a question.
彼女は、ダイアログ・インザ・ダークも体験した。その体験の感想をこう伝えてくれた。「声を出さないと、自分は存在しないことになると気づいた」と。
Then she experienced Dialogue in the Dark. She told me how she felt about the experience. "I realized that if I didn't speak out, I wouldn't exist".
私がダイアログ・インザ・ダークを体験したとき、２名のグループだったから、ひとりひとりの存在を大きく感じ、そのような感想ではなかった。彼女は７名のグループだったので、そう感じたのだろう。
When I experienced Dialogue in the Dark, I was in a group of two people, but I didn't feel that way because I felt that each person was a big part of the group. She probably felt the way she felt because it was a group session with seven people.
シェアとは、「自分の存在を感じ、人とつながれる喜び」を意味するのだと私は思う。
"SHARE", in my opinion, means "the joy of feeling one's presence and being connected to others".
つまりシェアとは、絆を深めたり、自分の存在を認めるための1対1のコミュニケーションのことなのだ。
So "SHARING" means one-on-one communication that improves bonding and your sense of self,

皆さんは、「超訳」に気づいただろうか？
「隊長は、１２０％今を楽しんでいるんだな」
"she felt that the captain was enjoying the moment 110%."
日本人としては、100%以上の誇張を120%と言うけれど、英語圏の人は、"110%" と言うらしいのです。
理由は？
「そっちの方がかっこいいから。ワンハンドレッド テン！ の方が、インパクトあるでしょ」とのことでした。(笑)
