Dear Readers,
A tired person only dreams of a comfortable bed.Let’s try to dream a little bigger!
“What is your dream? “ The CEO sometimes asked me but I couldn’t answer it at all so I felt uncomfortable.
Somehow I had wanted to try answering so I had been thinking about dreams and that question had existed within me everyday. I begun to understand that I would do something to make people happy. So I thought that I should do something to make people happy now.
I was in retail but I had been thinking I wouldn’t keep doing this kind of job in the future because I felt stressed if customers didn’t buy anything even though I took my time for them. I wanted to relive this stress.
One day I suddenly realized. Even though customers didn’t buy anything at least, they came in to our shop and for that I should be thankful. If I thought like that, everyday would be happy!
And then I felt grateful to co-workers and I could recognize them for what they did at work.
Everything had changed. I noticed I could meet new people in my shop everyday even though I didn’t go out to make a network of personal connections. Lucky moi!
Since I had come to think I wanted to be a CEO in the future, I met many people who had their own businesses like a personal stylist and a young stage actress and so on. They already had their dreams come true so I usually asked “May I have your business card?”
One day I had dinner with a customer I had just met on that day and she invited me to her house. It was exciting and I could imagine the place I would like to live in the future.
That's how I found my dream. Only a year later, I started my own business and I found my ideal place to live.
