ファッションコンサルをしました。服のショップヘ行く前に、お金の使い方についてクライアントさんに色々と聞かれました。
I gave my client a style consultation. Before going shopping, she asked me about how to spend money.
私はお金に関して、3つのステージを経ています。貯金だけをしていた時代、自己投資の時代、自己投資とメイクマネーをして、お金を循環させている時代です。皮肉なことに、守銭奴になっていたときは、心は豊かではありませんでした。
I experienced several phases of spending money. First I just saved money, next I spent money on self-investment and now I continue self-investment and I make money. Ironically, I saved a lot of money, but I wasn’t rich in spirit.
人は、自己投資をするとき、このお金は返ってくるのかと心配になります。 私の初めての自己投資は、レザージャケットです。なぜなら、アパレル店長としてふさわしい服を持っていなかったからです。店長の貫禄をつけなくてはいけなくなって、その当時、自分にとって一番高いレザージャケットを買いました。（90日コーチングと同じ価格！笑）
When we spend money on self-investment, we are worried about getting the money back. My first self-investment was to buy a leather jacket because I didn’t have proper clothes for an apparel shop manager. I had to have an aura as a manager. It was the most expensive jacket I had ever bought at that time.
それからも、服を売るために毎月服を買い続け、私の外見は激変しました。ある意味自分のためというよりも、人のために服を買っていたと言えるでしょう。今思えば、あのジャケットを買ったところから、私の人生は変わりました。あの自己投資が、お金を生み出し、私の人生が活気づいていったのです。
Moreover, I kept buying clothes every month in order to sell more clothes and then I changed my image dramatically. I’d say I bought many clothes for others not for me in some ways. Looking back, my life has changed so much from getting the jacket. And the self-investment began to make money and my life became quite lively.
そして、ファッションコンサルのクライアントさんは、洗練されたテーラードジャケットを未来への自分に買っていました。
Finally, my client got a fancy blazer for her future.
