I’m writing my English newsletter for the first time in 2 months! How was your locked-down life? Did you watch YouTube live streams or Instagram live streams? Did you do something on zoom? Did you drink with your friends on zoom? Did you do hide and seek on zoom? Just kidding!

私は、ロックダウンスペシャリストなので、ロックダウン中もいつもと同じでした。時代が私に追いついてきたような！ 私はオンラインで何かを始めてみたいクライアントさんを手伝いました。みなさん、以前より積極的に動いていましたね。やってみたら楽しかったそうです。これからも続けていくのではないかと思います。
I’m a lockdown specialist so my life was the same as usual during the lockdown. So, in a way, I thought the times have caught up with me. I helped some clients who wanted to start something online. They had to learn to be more spontaneous than they were before. Sounds like they finally tried it and it was fun. They will continue their online services.
今までYouTubeやオンラインライブ配信を自宅からやったことのなかった有名人も、参入しました。ホストとして、ひとりで仕切らなくてはなりません。あるシンガーソングライターは、始めは混乱していましたが、5回目になると、ホストスキルをアップさせ、自身のスタイルを見つけていました。私は、彼女の曲が生まれている自宅での引き語りに感動しました！
Even though famous entertainers entered YouTube or did online performances from their houses. They did it by themselves as a host. A famous singer-songwriter was confused being a host for the first time but she developed a host skill and found her style. I was moved while she was singing with a piano from her home where she makes songs!
一方、YouTubeで英語の発音を教え始めた歌手がいました。ものすごくびっくりしました！ 未来が見えたと思いました！冗談でなく。彼は、No.1 オンラインホストです。
On the other hand, even though a singer started teaching English pronunciation on YouTube. I was flabbergasted. I could see the future. No kidding. He is the best online host ever!
私は、YouTubeで英語を学んだことはありませんでしたが、『英語ガク習塾』を見続けているほどです！ 英語を教えているYouTuberたちがレビューをしており、皆さん好評価でした。ある人が、「黒船来航のようだ」と。全くその通りです！
I have never learned English on YouTube but I keep watching “Eigo GACK-shu juku.” Many YouTubers who teaches English reviewed his channel and they thought highly of him. Someone said, “It’s like Commodore Matthew C. Perry had reached Uraga by the "Black Ships" and taken a leading role in the opening of Japan.” Indeed!
こうして、有名人との距離も近くなり、彼らからインスパイアされることも増えるでしょう。その結果として、個人レベルで、才能が花開していくでしょう。
This is how celebrities become close to us and we are inspired by them. Then, as a result, the talent blooms on a personal level.
何しろホスト力を磨くべきなのです。昨日私は、今地球で流行っているZoom飲み会のホスト役をしました。飲み会ですから、No-mitsuな時間を過ごすために、まさにホストが必要です。
Anyway, we should develop host skills. Yesterday I played host of a zoom drinking party which is really popular all over the earth now. A drinking party needs a host to spend a No-mitu time!
もう、過去の日常に戻れません。人々がお互いを楽しませることが、これからの新しい日常です。
We can’t go back to our past normal life. People entertain each other in a new normal life!
良いホストになるためには、パーティを盛り上げるために、自分を無くさないといけないのです。無償の愛の任務は、新しい自分発見に繋がります！ 感動的な新時代になるでしょう。
To be a good host you have to sacrifice your ego for the sake of the party. It’s a selfless role that helps you to discover a new self, for a new exciting era.
